A half coat version of Mizusawa Down’s high spec Mountaineer model uses DERMIZAX® DWR TUSSAH, with a cotton-like feel. Heat-bonded, non-quilt and seam tape processing achieve high water resistance and prevent moisture entry. The hood is equipped with a para-hood system ※1 that prevents water and snow accumulation in bad weather. Dual zip ventilation on the front has two rows of zippers with mesh fabric between, facilitating outside air entry and release of unpleasant heat and moisture buildup inside the jacket. An active heat generating HEAT NAVI lining also helps to maintain a comfortable temperature. In addition, it is possible to track the entire feather procurement process by using only traceable down with "DOWNPASS" certification ※2 and by using serial numbers to ensure strict control.
※1 The hood can be kept closed when not in use, but opened quickly when conditions change through the incorporation of a unique top opening Parazip.
